The Highest Scoring Game in NBA History: Pistons @ Nuggets 186-184 3OT!

On December 13th, 1983 the Detroit Pistons and the Denver Nuggets have played the highest scoring game in NBA history. The Pistons won in triple overtime 186-184; Isiah Thomas led the team with 47 points, 17 assists, 5 rebounds and 4 steals, while John Long contributed 41 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. For the Nuggets, Kiki Vandeweghe had 51 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Alex English scored 47 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.
